              Professional Growth
Professional Growth VAEOP holds an annual meeting and conference in October, and a
Spring Conference in April. In addition, members may attend National
Institutes and Conferences.

VAEOP offers a continuing education program through its affiliation with the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP). The Professional Standards Program (PSP) offers the opportunity to achieve certification as an educational office professional.

Recognition VAEOP provides the opportunity for members to participate
in several recognition programs.

-Apple Awards are presented at the annual conference to recognize VAEOP members who have made a special contribution to the education of Vermonters.

-The annual Administrator of the Year Award which is presented at the spring conference for outstanding support of educational professionals.

-Nationally affiliated recognition programs including Secretary of the Year.
