Professional Growth

	VAEOP holds an annual meeting and conference in October, and a Spring Conference in May. In addition, members may attend National Institutes and Conferences. VAEOP offers a continuing education program through its affiliation with the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP). The Professional Standards Program (PSP) offers the opportunity to achieve certification as an educational office professional.
Recognition
	VAEOP provides the opportunity for members to participate in several recognition programs. >>click here for an opportunity to nominate a VAEOP Member for the 2012 Apple Award! -Apple Awards are presented at the annual conference to recognize VAEOP members who have made a special contribution to the education of Vermonters. -The annual Administrator of the Year Award which is presented at the spring conference for outstanding support of educational professionals. >>click here for an opportunity to nominate an Administrator of the Year 2012! -Nationally affiliated recognition programs including Secretary of the Year.
