What is VAEOP?
The Vermont Association of Educational Office Professionals (VAEOP), founded in 1938, is the only professional association for educational office personnel in Vermont. It is our belief that educational office professionals are an important link in the total educational program of each student and we are proud to be members of the educational team.
The purpose of VAEOP is to encourage educational office professionals to attain high standards of performance through professional growth, and to advance recognition of the vital role they play as members of the educational team.
Services
VAEOP offers services to its members by finding ways to meet their needs for growth and fellowship.
VAEOP provides service to Vermont communities by offering a $1000 Marion T. Wood Scholarship for further education in an office related business program. The winner of this scholarship may compete nationally through NAEOP, for an additional $1000 scholarship.
VAEOP has ongoing community projects to benefit the children in Vermont.
How Do I Join? Membership in the National Association for Educational Office Professionals is $45.00 per year, which includes a subscription to the National Education Secretary Magazine. A subscription to the magazine only, may be purchased for $10.00 per year. Contact the VAEOP President, watch your newsletters for information about NAEOP membership &VAEOP membership.
